Discovering Fairy-Tale Norwegian Fjords

30 七月 2018

Lamborghini’s expeditions to discover the most spectacular places and roads in the world continued with an extraordinary tour of almost 500 km in Norway, along an impressive route unwinding between the sea, mountains, waterfalls, glaciers, and the midnight sun.

An exploratory and questing soul guided the convoy of super sports cars starting out from the picturesque Art Nouveau town of Ålesund, located in the northern fjords region, to challenge the mythical masterpiece of road engineering that is the Trollstigen. The so-called road of the Trolls, winding along eleven hairpin turns that climb dizzily up a vertical wall of rock and waterfalls, represented an unparalleled scenic context for a parade of masterpieces from the House of the Raging Bull.
The convoy then continued through Valldal, the valley of strawberries, on to Geirangerfjord, UNESCO world heritage site, then across the Jostedalsbreen, the largest glacier in Europe, and the quiet village of Loen, at the end of an arm of the Nordfjord, to finally conclude at Mount Aksla, which overlooks the fairy-tale town of Ålesund.
